Interested in working at Duke?

We’re Looking For Teachers

Are you a native English speaker with at least two years of teaching experience? Do you enjoy working with people from different cultural backgrounds? Have you worked with adults before? Are you available to work mornings and afternoons? Are you able to commute to the Asok/Nana area? Duke Language School might be just for you.

Who We Are

When we founded our school in 2013, our mission was to transform language learning into a fun, interesting, and engaging experience. For us, this meant developing a unique method for learning functional Thai as a gateway to a deep exploration of Thai language and culture. After seeing the impact our method had on our Thai students, we knew we had created something special. We took our method and sought to do the same with English students in Thailand. Today, Duke Language School is one of the top ranked language schools in Thailand. Our student roster has seen massive growth. To accommodate this growth, we are looking for professional, experienced teachers who are serious about learning, and open to the Duke Language School method.

Class Structure

Classes are taught in three-hour block sessions, from 9am – 12pm, and from 1pm – 4pm. Each session is broken down into three parts, with a 10-minute break between each part. So, for example, the first season begins at 9am, and there is a break from 9:50 – 10am. Classes are taught in one of our classrooms at a school, and class size is capped at a maximum of 10 students per class.
